Hi Dianne
Youre lucky - would take my hubby about 20 years to make a whelping box if previous household projects are anything to go by

I think we will go for a plastic one as they seem easy to clean and you can take them apart when finished (unfortunately that also means that you need to put them together in the first place and going on what I have just told you I should maybe buy one now..............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Rosie should get her scan around the beginning of the second week in April so fingers crossed. I am going to be soooooo disappointed now if she isnt having babies. I tell you though that the more I am reading about whelping the more worried I am becomming

There does seem to be so much that could go wrong. One of my friends breeds Coton du Tuleir (dont think that is the right spelling, not a strong point!) and she is coming to visit soon so will need to ask her lots of questions and hopefully get some guidance. All I keep hearing is that you have to remain calm - CALM - !!??
Anyway, will keep in touch and let you know asap when I have her scanned. Feel like we are cousins now or something - will be great to swap photos of puppies and mums.
Take care, Elaine xxxx
